Glen Moray, pronounced 'Murray', comes from an old Gaelic word for a marshland or flood plain. This describes its location perfectly in the heart of the small town of Elgin at the north of Speyside. Here Glen Moray is frequently flooded by the Spey river. Glen Moray has gone from strength to strength in recent years and is now the fifth biggest selling Single Malt in the United Kingdom. Glen Moray currently uses 9 still making just under 6 million litres of spirit a year.
