Amazing to think what an impact Kavalan has had on the whisky world considering its distillery only opened in 2005. Winning award after award every year, mostly for its Solist range, Kavalan has become a whisky synonymous with quality and collectability. Famous for its heavily sherried whiskies that due to Taiwan's all year round summer are achieved at a very young age.

Kavalan distillery has an impressive five sets of stills and makes almost five millions litres of spirit a year, although a great deal of this is lost to intense angels share.

Kavalan distillery is open to visitors.
